History

Rainbow Cleaners, your hometown cleaners, began operation in 1970 competing with 8 other cleaning operations around the square. As the square traffic changed Rainbow Cleaners moved to a larger facility on west Jackson Avenue. In 2011 we moved into our new state of the art cleaning and production facility just across from the west entrance to Ole Miss. Rainbow Cleaners is a 'Green' building and was awarded best new plant design and operation in the country for 2012 by the American Dry Cleaner magazine. We use all green solvents and detergents - plus catch all lint and waste in drain trap before entering city sewer system. We were Green before Green was cool !

Specialties

Serving Oxford, Lafayette County, and Ole Miss since 1970. We provide dry cleaning, wet cleaning, laundry, and alterations for today's garments. We also offer Bridal gown cleaning and preservation along with specialty leather cleaning. Plus we offer full shoe and boot repair including zippers and buckles on boots and shoes. In addition we provide a full line of household cleaning services from linens to bed covers plus, upholstery, drapes, and area rug cleaning. Plus table cloths are cleaned and pressed.
