North Lauderdale Water Association
The North Lauderdale Water Association (NLWA) was established in 1966 and has since grown to become a reliable provider of high-quality drinking water to approximately 10,000 people across 113 square miles in Bailey, MS. With a network of 800 miles of pipeline, 5 active wells, 4 treatment plants, and various storage tanks, NLWA has the capacity to treat and deliver over 3 million gallons of water per day.
Operating with a mission to consistently deliver clean drinking water, NLWA draws its water from the Lower Wilcox aquifer, ensuring good quality water with the exception of a naturally high iron content, which is effectively filtered out by their plants. Serving residential, commercial, and industrial customers, NLWA plays a vital role in the community by providing essential water services to homes, businesses, churches, schools, fire stations, and recreational facilities.
