The Newton County Academy, also known as NCA, offers Christian-based education programs to more than 200 students in kindergarten through grade 12. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, art, English and social studies. The academy operates a library and provides guidance counseling services. The Newton County Academy also offers several sports activities, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, softball and tennis. It is accredited by the Mississippi Private School Association. The academy has a staff of over 25 members. The Newton County Academy operates a parent-teacher association and athletic booster club. It manages a cafeteria that provides a variety of food items.
