The J.E. Nelson Company is one of the oldest stores in the southern United States that offers family apparel and housewares. The company s first store was a small log cabin that stocked groceries, clothing, hardware and drugs. The store operates cosmetics and accessories, bridal registry and home accents, and apparel departments. Its bridal registry department offers a variety of table and kitchen linens, as well as tabletop and home decorative items. It offers products of various brands, such as Lenox, Gorham, Waterford, Wedgewood, Vera Wang, Noritake, Denby and Love. In addition, the store provides a range of gift items, including home and body fragrances, picture frames, candles and bath towels. The J.E. Nelson Company maintains a location in Oxford, Miss.
