In 1955, Mr. Newberry moved the company to its present location in West Memphis, Arkansas, to begin manufacturing tank trucks and steel storage tanks. Mr. Newberry was a founding member of the Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI). Over the years, Newberry has worked with organizations such as STI, PEI, NFPA, EPA, and Underwriter’s Laboratories and has been instrumental in developing many of the products and standards serving the industry today.
