Considering the location of McEwen's, I was expecting more. When I can throw a stone and hit ten 4 or 5 star restaurants, I wouldn't come back here. Our server was lovely but clearly overmatched...

Their Old Fashioned is made with liquid bitters and simple syrup. This has been consistent in all of the restaurants I've visited in Oxford though, so it was to be expected, but still...

We sat at bar to celebrate our 51st anniversary. The service was very good, We enjoyed the chicken with Alabama white BBQ sauce.

Atmosphere was cozy yet somewhat upscale. I got fish and it was fantastic. Great drink and food menu. Service was excellent.
