Jak's opened in 1992 as Jim And Kathy's Cards and Collectibles, ownership changed in 1994. Jak's took on the acrimony of the original owners, Jak's. Jak's started as a sports card store and eventually transformed into a gaming and comic book store.

Highly suggest readers to avoid this shop if at all possible. Staff absolutely ignored me for twenty minutes while they talked to who I assume was a regular customer about non-business related...

The workers are rude and sexist. Whatever you do, don't pay to play in any tournaments here; they've been known to keep and sell promo prizes that were supposed to be given to tournament winners.
