Jackson Fire Training Safety

The Jackson Fire Department is a full-service public safety agency that is located in Jackson, Miss. It organizes a variety of youth, public education and special programs that help and assist the public outside the normal fire and medical emergency situations. The department works to protect the lives, property and environment of the city of Jackson from the threats and occurrences of emergencies. The Jackson Fire Department undertakes fire investigations, reviews plans and conducts inspections. It is operated by the city of Jackson, Miss., which also operates code enforcement, health and safety, library, parks and recreation, planning, public transportation and utilities departments. The Jackson Fire Department additionally receives and responses to calls for emergency medical assistance.
