HistoryWe started collecting and restoring antiques and vintage items during Don's 27-year career in the Navy. Back then, it was a far better alternative than buying cheaply made home furnishings in the stores. Moreover, we quickly learned that purchasing neglected pieces and restoring them facilitated stretching our dollars. When Don left active duty in 1989, we relocated back to Northern IL to be near our families. We continued collecting and restoring antiques and other vintage items. Eventually, we went into the Antique business operating from a booth at a local antique mall and participation at various area antique shows.SpecialtiesSales of antiques, collectables, and other vintage home furnishings.
