335 Coleman Ave
Waveland, MS 39576
Our museum is housed in a historic building in Waveland that had been used as a school and civic center. It is the only building left standing on our main street after Hurricane Katrina and has been restored to its original structure. We have permanent and temporary exhibitions with interactive displays, oral history and other videos, along with a diverse collection of memorabilia from the entire Gulf Coast. We welcome families from our community, from around the US and international visitors. We hope you stop by!

This was a very interesting museum. We never knew the story of Waveland. We were mostly familiar with what happened in New Orleans. We are very glad we made this stop.
