Florence Middle School

Located in Richland, Miss., Richland High School is a public school that provides coaching and training in a variety of athletic activities, such as cheerleading, baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, football, softball, and track and field. It conducts academic classes in a variety of subjects, such as history, language arts, foreign languages, math, science, business and technology studies, family and consumer science, and health and physical education. Richland High School maintains s student council, choir, and beta and excel clubs. In addition, it operates a SADD Club, which provides students with prevention and intervention tools to deal with the issues of underage drinking, drug use, impaired driving and other destructive decisions. Richland High School teaches students in grades 7 through 12 and is a part of the Rankin County School District.

Pearl Junior High School is a learning facility that provides a range of educational services for students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes English, social studies, science, physical education and math. The school also offers extracurricular activities in band, drama and music. Pearl Junior High School provides guidance counseling and food solutions. In addition, it offers the English as a Second Language program. The school operates the Beta Club and a student council. Pearl Junior High School also provides membership opportunities in the National Junior Honor Society. It organizes basketball, football and cross-country tournaments. The school is a part of the Pearl Public School District.
