Dunbar Village is a retirement community which offers various levels of care to its residents; Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitative Care. Located in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, Dunbar Village is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, yet is only blocks away from medical offices, shopping centers, and the Hancock Medical Center. For the Assisted Living residents, the staff provides assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing and grooming as well as assistance with medications. The Assisted Living section of the Courtyard is licensed by Mississippi State Department of Health. Adult Day Care Services Are available for those who need assisted living services during the daytime. Temporary/Respite Care Services are available for those who need assisted living services on a short term basis. The Terrace at Dunbar Village is an environment planned to respond to people who are in need of nursing care and assistance with their activities of daily living. The staff administers medications and performs treatments as prescribed by the attending physician. The Terrace is certified for participation in Medicare & Medicaid progam and is licensed by Mississippi State Department of Health. Rehabilitative care is delivered in the Terrace by a team of committed professionals with years of experience. Our unique setting allows individuals to receive short term therapy in a separate part of the facility. A homelike atmosphere coupled with a caring staff creates an environment which compliments the delivery of therapy.
