DFMC will be the model for quality family medicine in the Desoto County area. Our providers will strive to provide the most up-to-date standard of care within the scope of family medicine. DFMC will constantly and consistently strive to better herself with the focus on our patient s physical, spiritual and psychosocial needs as well as the needs of our community.We have assembled a team of physicians and nurse practitioners to care for you and your family. Each of our physician staff is residency trained in their specialty. To assure that your family is provided the most current standards of care, our providers regularly attend ongoing medical education. Many involved in leadership roles at the community, state and national levels. Most of or physicians hold clinical preceptor appointments with the Universities of Mississippi and Tennessee Schools of Medicine and are involved in training medical students. Our nurse practitioners complement our practice by providing additional access for acute care needs and mid-level provider services are always under the direct supervision of our physicians.
