Behavioral Health Services at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital, located in Jackson, Miss., serves adults more than 18 years of age, who seek help for substance abuse and mental health issues. Using experienced clinicians and modern therapeutic techniques, its approach to treatment is designed to address mental health needs, as well as spiritual, emotional and social needs. It offers more than 120 beds in its inpatient psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment facility, and provides individual, family and group therapy on an outpatient basis. Behavioral Health Services provides treatment for mental health and chemical dependency needs, such as depression, anxiety and panic attacks, suicidal and homicidal tendencies, hallucinations, paranoia and delusions, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, alcohol abuse and drug dependency.

MINACT is responsible for providing material, services and personnel to operate Job Corps Centers across the United States. Job Corps is a national residential training and employment program for disadvantaged youth ages 16 through 24. Customers are provided with comprehensive career development services including academic, vocational, social and independent living skills, career readiness training and support services for employment preparation. During its first 21 years, MINACT provided start-up operations for five centers and transitioned 10 other centers. It hired and trained more than 2,400 staff members, purchased more than $3.5 million in equipment and maintained residential training facilities for more than 5,000 trainees. MINACT also has contractual responsibility for recruitment of Job Corps students and for their placement after the program. Job Corps continues to serve nearly 70,000 students annually at nearly 120 centers throughout the country.
