In 1952 Cowboy Maloney s was born, a lumber yard selling built-in appliances for new homes. The company has since evolved to a full line appliance dealer and from there became a TV dealer when the first television station came on line in Mississippi. In 1991, Cowboy Maloney s purchased Electric City from the Southern Company. Cowboy Maloney s Electric City has grown to more than 200 associates with multiple locations, 40-plus delivery trucks and an electronic service department. The company is a member of NATM, a national buying group of 12 dealers.
