Coast Electric Power Association

The Coast Electric Power Association is a nonprofit, member-owned cooperative that serves more than 74,000 customers throughout Hancock, Harrison and Pearl River counties in Mississippi. The cooperative provides electricity to residential, commercial and industrial customers. The Coast Electric Power Association offers surge protectors, generators and outdoor lighting systems. The cooperative also offers rebates on heat pumps and cooking equipment. It features various bill payment plans, including electronic funds transfer and levelized billing. The cooperative also provides tree trimming and power outage services. Its storm center offers emergency services for storms and hurricanes. The cooperative has more than 230 local businesses, including restaurants, auto and jewelry shops, hair salons and fitness centers. The Coast Electric Power Association maintains a presence in Gulfport, Miss.
