Woodland Centers

Located in Benson, Minn., Woodland Centers is a nonprofit organization that works to provide mental health services. Established in 1958, it works in collaboration with county, school, court and corrections and health care organizations throughout Minnesota. The organization provides individual, family and group therapy services for patients. Woodland Centers supports a partial hospital program that serves persons with acute symptoms and illness. It undertakes psychiatric nursing, psychology, psychiatry and clinical social work. The organization also administers a youth day treatment program that offers help for children and adolescents with emotional disturbances through group, recreational and skills therapies. Woodland Centers serves Chippewa, Kandiyohi, Lac qui Parle, Meeker, Renville and Swift counties in Minnesota.
