Habilitative Services, with various office locations throughout Minnesota, including Mankato, is a community-based organization. The organization established in 1985, provides home care, supported living and elderly services. It provides residential support and independent living options to individuals through single and double rooms, private baths and spacious apartments. Additionally, Habilitative Services provides elderly housing in a community-oriented living arrangement to individuals, and assists them with daily activities. It also provides nursing services by registered nurses that include assistance with various tasks, such as dressing changes, medications and injections, and catheter care. It also offers personal care assistants that provide assistance with activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming, exercise, diet and nutrition. Habilitative Services also provides housekeeping and laundry services, and 24-hour foster and respite care for people with disabilities.
