White Pine Lodge

White Pine Lodge is a small family owned and operated wilderness resort located on Poplar Lake, just off the historic Gunflint Trail in the Arrowhead Region of northeastern Minnesota. Originating in the early 1900’s White Pine Lodge is one of five founding resorts on the Gunflint Trail. Our traditional one-room cabins have warm wood throughout with log beams, fireplaces or wood-burning stoves. There are 6 lakeside cabins (dog friendly), 3 private guest rooms in the newly refurbished lodge, and 4 campsites (dog friendly). The lodge has 2 large Rumsford fireplaces, a lounge on the main floor, gift shop, and a lounge/library on the loft level. All cabins have modern amenities, including a full kitchen, & 3/4 bath. Lakeside sits a handcrafted sauna for guests to enjoy. Poplar Lake has 3 BWCA entry points and we offer free canoe/kayak/paddle board usage for those who like a casual day on the lake. White Pine Lodge is a four season resort - 6 Cabins, 3 Guest rooms, and 4 campsites are available for winter stays. Homemade artisan pizza and beer/wine are available in lodge at the White Pine Pub.
