Established in 1959, Minnesota Valley Health Center is a nonprofit health care facility. The center is a 22-bed acute care hospital, offering surgical services, such as ultrasound, mammography, CT scan, magnetic resonance imaging, and electro and cardiac diagnostics. The health care services also include inpatient physical and occupational therapies, same-day surgery and critical care unit. The center operates nursing home, offering more than 85 beds, with private and double rooms. The unit provides 24-hour professional nursing care, and also offers services, including comprehensive rehabilitation program, psychological and diagnostic services, snack bar activities program. Minnesota Valley Health Center provides outpatient services in areas, such as cardiology, dermatology, urology, physical therapy and occupational therapy. Hospice services offered by the center include 24-hour, seven-days a week, on-call nursing services, medical equipment and personal care. The hospital also has adult day health center, and is located in Le Sueur, Minn.
