Located in St. Paul, Minn., the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota is a nonprofit organization that provides services to individuals suffering from seizures. It is an affiliate of the National Epilepsy Foundation. Founded in 1954, the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota provides programs and services to individuals with epilepsy. The Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota provides a variety of services, such as epilepsy education awareness programs, information and referral services, advocacy, support, youth and family programs. The foundation organizes the Camp Ozawizeniba for boys and girls with epilepsy and other seizure disorders. Its 152 acres of land includes waterfront, cabins, a lodge for program activities, dining hall, centrally located shower and toilet facilities, chapel, health service, arts and crafts building, athletic field and a game area.

In operation for more than 90 years, Greater Twin Cities United Way specializes in providing social services to adults, children and youths. The organization serves Anoka, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin, Isanti, Ramsey and Scott counties, Minn. It offers support and home care services to adults and senior citizens with mental and physical disabilities. Greater Twin Cities United Way provides housing and financial and employment assistance to low-income families. The organization s educational services include general academic and special education programs. It also conducts various social and educational programs that include food drives and seminars. In addition, the organization provides supportive services to the victims of family violence. Greater Twin Cities United Way is headquartered in Minneapolis.
