T.J. Ridley, MD

Garry M. Banks, MD, is a fellowship trained spine surgeon with over 20 years experience in the surgical treatment of problems in all areas of the spine. He is experienced in treating spinal problems with children and adults, as well as elderly patients. Special areas of interest include complex cervical problems, spinal deformity, lumbar reconstructive surgery, as well as minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Banks has had extensive training and experience with spinal injections. Dr. Marcus Mittelsteadt is originally from Apple Valley, Minnesota. He did his fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery with renowned surgeons Donald Bohay and John Anderson in Grand Rapids, MI. His training focused on ankle arthritis and ankle replacement, foot deformity reconstruction, bunion surgery, and foot and ankle sports injuries and instability. Dr. Mittelsteadt’s practice treats a wide range of lower extremity ailments from the hip to the foot and ankle, including knee and ankle replacement.

Jason (Jay) Barry, MD, is a board certified fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery, as well as minimally invasive knee and shoulder replacement. His special interests include ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair and cartilage injuries. Dr. Barry is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas, where he played hockey, and Creighton University School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship at TRIA Orthopaedic Center, where he worked with Minnesota’s professional sports teams. He practices at Twin Cities Orthopedics clinics in Coon Rapids and Fridley and performs surgery in Coon Rapids, Fridley and Maple Grove. In addition to treating patients and athletes of all ages, Dr. Barry participates in the North Division Board of Directors and is a member of the Sports Medicine Committee at TCO. He helps create new, accelerated physical therapy protocols for patients. He is involved with the sports medicine community, helping student athletes at numerous high schools and colleges including North Central University and the University of St. Thomas.
