Civco Medical Solutions is a leading supplier of medical physics and quality assurance tools, patient positioning and fixation systems and other accessories for the global radiation oncology industry. The company was founded in 1983 to manufacture products and services for the radiation physicist. Civco Medical Solutions has been located in Orange City, Iowa, since 1988. Roper Industries acquired the company in late 2005. Civco Medical Solutions, with Civco Medical Instruments, a Roper subsidiary, creates a full line of medical products, software and services for use in diagnostic procedures, minimally invasive surgery and cancer therapy. Civco Medical Solutions is expected to generate approximately $85 million of revenues annually. Civco Medical Solutions works closely with cancer treatment facilities throughout the world and serves more than 3,000 cancer care clinics in the United States and 85 countries worldwide.
