Established in 1993, hospice team members are professionals who specialize in meeting the individualized needs of terminally ill patients and their families. It coordinates the provision of medical equipment, supplies and medications for pain relief and symptom management related to terminal diagnosis. On-call services are provided by the hospice nurses 24-hours a day. Health aides assist patients with personal care and light housekeeping.
