In March of 2002, Ken Streeter and Jeff Streeter began work to charter Eagle Community Bank. Eagle Community Bancshares, Inc was organized as a privately-owned holding company for the purpose of incorporating Eagle Community Bank, a de novo bank, with a mission to provide specialized financial services to small business and consumers. On December 11, 2002, the Minnesota Department of Commerce issued a bank charter to Eagle Community Bank, subject to Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation ( FDIC ) deposit insurance. As a state-chartered non-member bank, Eagle Community Bank's primary regulator is the FDIC. On March 19, 2007, bank relocated from its first office at 16338 County Road 30 to its current office at 9600 Upland Lane North in Maple Grove, Minnesota.
