History

Smith Appliance Service was started by Carl and Iris Smith from their home in 1981. They soon moved to the historic downtown square in Windom. In 2014, Carl and Iris wanted to retire. They sold the business to Rob and Tami McMenimen. Rob and Tami and their family have continued to grow the business in products and people. In November of 2015, Smith Appliance will leave Windom's square for a larger location on the east side of Windom, just off of Hwy. 60. They look forward to offering a destination for appliance shopping at the new location.

Specialties

Smith Appliance carries KitchenAid counter-top and major appliances, Maytag, Samsung, Frigidaire and Amana appliances and Maytag vacuums. We have refrigerators, ranges, microwaves, freezers, dishwashers and laundry. We also service what we sell so you won't ever find yourself looking for a service provider.
