Satin Stitches

History

Designer and entrepreneur Deborah Nelson started Satin Stitches nearly 40 years ago as a couture custom wedding, pageant gown, and costume creator. Within the first year, employees were hired and dance costumes were added to the repertoire of 'performance' costumes that were hand crafted. Currently, team uniforms and costumes are created and shipped all across North America, using our CAD patternmaking system. We are still open for special one-on-one appointments.

Satin Stitches hand crafts custom-designed performance costuming for all types of individuals and teams, including Dance Teams, Pro and All-Star Cheer Teams, Show Choirs, Ice Skaters, Ballroom Dancers and Brides. Fabulous Design, Construction & Fit are what our clients LOVE about Satin Stitches!
