Rum River South School

Lincoln Elementary School for the Arts provides a variety of educational opportunities for the academic growth of children. It enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five and focuses on technical, visual, literacy and performing arts. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as math, science, social studies and health education. It also provides instruction in art, music and media skills. Lincoln Elementary School for the Arts runs the English Language Learners program for students with limited English proficiency. The school offers Title I, homebound instruction and talent development programs. It has a parent-teacher organization that conducts several fundraising programs and sponsors school events. Lincoln Elementary School for the Arts is located in Anoka, Minn., and is a part of the Anoka-Hennepin School District, which serves more than 41,000 students in several kindergarten, middle and high schools.

The Rum River Special Education Cooperative, also known as RRSEC, is a rural agency that serves more than five school districts in east-central Minnesota. The cooperative specializes in school psychology, consulting, audiology and interagency family facilitation, as well as offers physical and occupational therapies. It also provides special education administration and coordination solutions. The Rum River Special Education Cooperative administers therapeutic programs. The cooperative serves Braham Public Schools, Isle Public Schools, Milaca Public Schools and Ogilvie Public Schools. In addition, it serves deaf and autistic students. The Rum River Special Education Cooperative serves more than 15,000 general and over 1,950 disabled students.
