Rochester Community and Technical College

Riverland Community College is a regional comprehensive community college that offers academic classes in liberal arts and career-technical higher education. It offers a variety of programs and associate degrees, diplomas and certificates that includes various technical programs that train students for jobs in 9 months. The college offers more than 50 career programs and over 30 transfer programs, including Associate in Applied Science Degree (AAS), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CERT), Nursing Program Pathway (RN) (AS), Industrial Maintenance and Mechanics (DIP) and Diesel Technology -- Commercial Vehicle (DIP). Located in Austin, Minn., Riverland Community College has a work force of nearly 350 staff members that include college and adjunct faculty and noninstructional personnel.

Western Technical College is one of more than 15 of Wisconsin s technical colleges that make up the Wisconsin Technical College System, and is located in La Crosse, Wis. The college offers more than 35 programs that lead to an associate in applied science degree. The programs are offered in four divisions that include business, family and consumer sciences, human services and industrial technologies. Additionally, the college also offers technical diplomas, and service learning and certificate programs in a wide range of disciplines, including tooling technology, practical nursing, electronic servicing technology, computerized accounting, graphic designing and interior decoration. The college offers students financial aid in the form of federal grants, loans and work-study awards. The college also has transfer agreements with several four-year colleges and universities that allow Western Technical College graduates with associate degrees to enter bachelor of science degree program with junior standing. Western Technical College approved by the Higher Learning Commission.

Operational since 1946, South Central College is an educational facility that offers a range of degrees, diplomas and certificates. The college is accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It offers career counseling services for students. The college conducts programs in business management, carpentry, architectural drafting, nursing, culinary arts, graphics production and automotive service. It conducts various scholarship programs for students. The college offers training sessions for public safety and emergency medical services. In addition, it provides financial assistance services. South Central College maintains one of its campuses in Faribault, Minn.
