HistoryHunter Hardwood, Inc. started in 1995 making fine furniture. The business consisted of one man, Greg Schettler. With the destruction of St. Peter's 1998 tornado, there were many requests to have hardwood floors repaired and/or installed. After turning many potential customers away, Schettler decided it would be more beneficial to enter into the flooring business by expanding his crew and his business. Being a flooring company ever since, has proved to be an excellent business decision. Today, Hunter Hardwood serves all of southern Minnesota extending to the metro area, some of northern Iowa and beyond.
