Putting Green
The New Ulm Community Garden is designed to educate and inspire individuals to make informed choices for a healthier planet by providing space for neighbors and families to cultivate their own herbs, flowers, fruits, and vegetables. This organic garden features 70 individual plots, including accessible raised beds, allowing both experienced and novice gardeners to enjoy outdoor activities while connecting with their community.
Gardeners can rent a 100-square-foot plot for a nominal fee, which includes essential resources like tilling, water, and tools. In addition to growing personal food, the garden also supports the local community by donating produce to the New Ulm Emergency Food Shelf, exemplifying a commitment to health and collaboration.
