Groveland Park Elementary School, located in St. Paul, Minn., provides educational programs for students in grades kindergarten through six. Its core curriculum includes language arts, science, mathematics, social studies, music, physical education and computer application. It also provides Spanish classes, English as a second language program, gifted and talented education program and special needs program for slow learners. The school organizes a variety of extracurricular activities, including game clubs, cultural fair, musical concerts, picnics, and girls scout and boys scout. Its parent teacher organization involves parents in various classroom activities and in organizing fundraising events, field trips and talent shows.
