The Princeton Area Library, part of the East Central Regional Library system, has been serving the community since its establishment in November 1959. Originally located in a building that housed a dairy, the library moved to a new facility on the Rum River, which opened in August 1995.

Offering a variety of resources and services, the library provides access to e-books, audiobooks, digital magazines, and early literacy programs for children and teens. The Princeton Area Library also hosts numerous events throughout the year, fostering a vibrant community space for learning and engagement.
