People Inc

Founded in 1969, People Incorporated is a nonprofit organization that serves people with mental illnesses and other brain disorders in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. With annual budget of more than $18 million, it operates over 35 programs on nearly 35 sites in Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka, Washington and Dakota counties in Minnesota. The organization serves more than 5,800 clients every year. People Incorporated offers a variety of crisis management, independent living skills training, in-home mental health care, case management and family support programs. It provides various short- and long-term housing and support services. People Incorporated also maintains several drop-in centers that offer recreational, employment and volunteer opportunities, as well as health and wellness skills training services for individuals.
