Dr. Patrick Riedel is a board-certified ophthalmologi with Minnesota Eye Consultants. He is fellowship-trained in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma and cataracts. In addition, he is specifically trained in multiple refractive surgery techniques such as LASIK, PRK, and refractive implant lenses. As an assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Riedel is actively involved in the clinical and surgical education of residents and fellows. He is an instructor in ocular pharmacology at Regions Hospital, and a consultant for the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Minneapolis. Dr. Riedel sees patients out of Minnesota Eye Consultants' offices in Blaine, Bloomington and Minnetonka.

Dr. Heersink received her undergraduate degree and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After an internship at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, she completed both her residency and cornea fellowship at the number one training program in the country for ophthalmology, Wills Eye Hospital. During those years of training, she was fortunate to learn from world-renowned leaders in the eye care field. Dr. Heersink is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, a member of the American Society of Refractive and Cataract Surgery, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
