History

Northwest Martial Arts has a long history in North Dakota/Minnesota. Founded in 1974 by Master Yun and passed down to Master Gilbertson. Northwest Martial Arts has over 15 active locations, with St. Cloud, MN location opening in September 2019 by Master Bryce and Master Brittney Tveter.

Specialties

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean form of self-defense and the most practiced form of martial arts in the world today. In this contact sport, your child will learn to reach their full potential with our confidence-building martial arts program. These sessions provide expert training in a fun and safe environment to produce positive results mentally, physically and socially. Our belt promotion curriculum focuses on many areas of Tae Kwon Do, progressively improving each student's skills and abilities with each belt. Give your child an edge in life and see the results last forever. We will empower your child by teaching highly effective self-defense skills while building respect, focus, confidence and self-discipline. New Participants: All information (uniforms, belt promotions, etc.) will be provided by the instructor on your first day of class. Students may have different ability levels. We can accommodate anyone at any level.
