Brian Snyder was born in a sod hut on the outskirts of the prairie frontier. Well not actually. He was born in a hospital in Des Moines, IA, the third of four boys. After surviving childhood he left one big city for another, Chicago. Brian completed an undergraduate degree in history at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. It was on the windy shores of Lake Michigan that he met a nice St. Paul girl named Molly who convinced him to marry her (or maybe it was the other way around) and she also first brought up the idea of becoming an optometrist.
