Nishant Dwivedi, MD

Garry M. Banks, MD, is a fellowship trained spine surgeon with over 20 years experience in the surgical treatment of problems in all areas of the spine. He is experienced in treating spinal problems with children and adults, as well as elderly patients. Special areas of interest include complex cervical problems, spinal deformity, lumbar reconstructive surgery, as well as minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Banks has had extensive training and experience with spinal injections. Jason (Jay) Barry, MD, is a board certified fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery, as well as minimally invasive knee and shoulder replacement. His special interests include ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair and cartilage injuries.Dr. Barry is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas, where he played hockey, and Creighton University School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship at TRIA Orthopaedic Center, where he worked with Minnesotas professional sports teams. He practices at Twin Cities Orthopedics clinics in Coon Rapids and Fridley and performs surgery in Coon Rapids, Fridley and Maple Grove. In addition to treating patients and athletes of all ages, Dr. Barry participates in the North Division Board of Directors and is a member of the Sports Medicine Committee at TCO. He helps create new, accelerated physical therapy protocols for patients. He is involved with the sports medicine community, helping student athletes at numerous high schools and colleges including North Central University and the University of St. Thomas.

Matthew S. Butterfield, MD, is a sports medicine fellowship-trained and board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in arthroscopic and open reconstruction of the knee and shoulder, total joint replacement, and fracture care. His special interests of the shoulder include primary and revision rotator cuff repair, instability, and arthroplasty. His special interests of the knee include primary and revision ACL reconstruction, meniscal and cartilage preservation and repair, patellofemoral realignment, and arthroplasty.
