Mpito

History

The word Mpito means transition in Swahili. As a designer our work is always evolving with the advancement in technology, web standards and our own imagination. Coming from a tradition of story telling and poetry from my mother's side and a center of technology and art from my father's side, I feel this is something I can share. Because at the end of the day, Design is no more that telling a story, and what seperates us is our ability to capture audience with our story. Ever since I could remember I had a passion for art and loved to draw. As this passion came and went through childhood to teen years, I eventually decided to explore my artistic side. So I designed flyers, artwork, and web layouts for a community center during my high school years. Eventually, when I started college, I knew exactly what I wanted to pursue my career on. So I took it by the horn and got on this ride.

Specialties

I specialize in Web Design and Graphic Design. from the layout and feel of the website to the front end coding (CSS, HTML) to print work such as business cards, posters, brochures, logo, invitations, etc. Branding is also something I enjoy doing, in which we brand or re-brand your business from top to bottom; logos, letterheads, envelopes, business cards etc.
