Minnetonka Senior High School

Founded in 1952, Minnetonka High School is a college preparatory school that offers classes in grades nine through 12 to more than 2,400 students. The school offers education in geometry, advanced algebra, pre-calculus, calculus and statistics. It also has advanced placement in calculus, macroeconomics, literature, composition, psychology, history, government, fine arts, statistics, chemistry, physics and biology. Accelerated or enriched courses are offered in English, math, science, social studies and world language by the school. Its sports activities include wrestling, basketball, cheerleading, football, soccer, swimming and tennis. It has a library and media center that provides a range of encyclopedias, books, magazines, manuals and reference materials that provides additional resources to students. The school also has a career center that provides counseling, guidance, financial aid and scholarship information to students. Minnetonka High School is located in Minnetonka, Minn.
