Minnesota State Patrol District 3100

With an office location in Virginia, Minn., Minnesota State Patrol is a statewide, full-service law enforcement agency that promotes public safety, identifies and solves criminal cases and safeguards citizens rights. Its officers work with communities to improve public safety, enforce traffic and drug law, investigate crimes, and enforce the laws and regulations pertaining to motor carriers. Minnesota State Patrol maintains a commercial vehicle enforcement section that promotes the safe and efficient operations of motor vehicles and provides staffing and support services for weight enforcement through fixed and mobile weight programs, civil weight investigations, commercial vehicle inspections and school bus programs. The patrol agency is a member of the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance. Minnesota State Patrol is a part of the Minnesota Department of Public Safety and organizes a variety of safety education programs.
