Municipal Emergency Service, INC Mid America is looking for qualified self motivated individuals to serve as fire equipment sales representatives in the state of Minnesota. The MSFCA Public Education Committee Is proud to present: University of St. Thomas Professor Dr. John Cragan & Deputy State Fire Marshal-Supervisor Jon Nisja. Jon Nisja will present fire and burn trends in Minnesota followed by a working session with Dr. Cragan on using a Creative Team Building approach to developing prevention programs. MSFCA Legislative Committee Chairperson Nyle Zikmund provides periodic updates regarding legislative issues. 2010 Burn Aid Golf Classic MnFAC Legislative Update ( May 7, 2010 ) Governor Pawlenty has included Phase 2 of the Tier 3 statewide training facilities project in the bonding bill for the upcoming legislative session. A two page progress report is available on Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Tier 3 Emergency Management Training Center ' Camp Ripley project. MSFCA Board Adopts the State Intrastate Mutual Aid Plan The purpose of the Minnesota Intrastate Mutual Aid Plan is to provide local fire chiefs with an easy access to large quantities of fire service resources that may be needed in a major fire, disaster or other major emergency. We endeavor to increase our membership every year and we want you to continue to be a part of a member driven association through our numerous hard working committees. Our goal is to have at least one member in every fire department in Minnesota.
