The Minnesota Law Enforcement Memorial Association (LEMA) is dedicated to supporting the families and home agencies of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. Through various initiatives, including assistance at the time of death and ongoing support, LEMA honors the sacrifices of these fallen officers and their survivors.
LEMA comprises police officers, survivors, and friends of fallen officers who volunteer their time to ensure that families receive necessary aid during challenging times. The organization also commemorates the contributions of these brave individuals during National Law Enforcement Memorial Week and offers memorial pavers and remembrance items for purchase.

This was a nice little side excursion. It's in between the State Capitol and the Cathedral of St. Paul. Go check out it's classical architectural layout.
