He has previously served as team physician for a decade at Mahtomedi High School. He maintains an active practice in sports medicine as well as hip and knee replacement surgery and he was previously the medical director of Twin Cities Orthopedics East Metro. Rachel E. Kneeland, DO, manages adult patients with complex autoimmune diseases, such as connective tissue disease, vasculitis, inflammatory arthropathies, and crystalline arthritis. She enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, and work towards improving their health, wellness, and mobility. Dr. Kneeland tries to meet patients on their level and believes being a good listener is paramount in diagnosing and managing complex autoimmune diseases. She often spends time educating patients on their disease, management options, and expectations. Shared decision making is something Dr. Kneeland embraces with all her patients.
