History

A lifelong artist of many mediums, Lisa discovered henna when she joined the local Indian community in traditional folk dance and received it at a performance. She fell in love, began learning and practicing and was hired to give Mehndi to attendees at an international festival in the summer of 2009. Since then, she has brought a booth to festivals and art fairs throughout the Minneapolis/St Paul community and beyond every summer, has created unique and beautiful henna for dozens of brides, adorned many wives and young women during times of traditional celebration, brought henna to many university and corporate events, and celebrated the upcoming arrival of many babies, and brought henna to countless parties.

*By appointment only* We are skilled, experienced and talented artists who specialize in beautiful, hand-drawn henna designs on skin. We make our henna paste fresh in small batches for you, using highest quality ingredients with no harmful additives, ensuring a rich, long-lasting stain when good aftercare instructions are followed. We bring this intricate art form to brides and their special guests, showers and parties of all types (mitzvahs, birthdays, ladies nights), university and corporate events, and individuals desiring decoration from trying out a permanent ink design to expectant moms celebrating their little one to chemotherapy patients bringing beauty to their situation.
