Specialties

The Meeker County Museum contains a vast collection of artifacts that represent the history of Meeker County. We also are the proud caretakers of Frank Daggett Post No. 35, a Hall constructed by Union veterans of the Civil War in 1885. The Hall stands together as the last remaining Grand Army of the Republic Hall in Minnesota. The G.A.R., founded in 1866 by Union Veterans of the Civil War. The Meeker County Museum was built adjacent to the Hall in the 1960s. It includes an authentic 1868 log cabin, early farming and blacksmithing equipment, displays about Minnesotans in War, country schools, and much more!
