Featured in a national car commercial and MTV music video, the McNamara Alumni Center is an architectural gem on the Minneapolis campus of the University of Minnesota. Designed with the Minnesota landscape in mind (wood, water and copper), the conference center offers ten versatile rooms, all on the first floor, making it a very popular Minneapolis meeting, wedding reception and special event venue. We average 700 events annually and customer service ratings from our customers average 4.8 out of 5.0 stars. McNamara has many conveniences, including tunnel connections to an adjacent 500-car parking ramp, Graduate Minneapolis Hotel also connected to us by tunnel, quick highway access off both Interstates 35W and 94, and award-winning DAmico Catering onsite.
