Mayday Books was began in St. Paul and moved to several different locations before landing at its current space in 1990. We have always been non-profit and all-volunteer.
Specialties
Mayday Books is celebrating its 46th year in business as an all-volunteer, non-profit, non-sectarian book store specializing in progressive politics with 15% off all books all the time. Located on the West Bank of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, Mayday Books sells books, magazines and newspapers and also serves as a meeting space for local activists.
