Great food and service, no better combination. Chicken and burgers are both so goood! Try the taco chicken salad for a wonderful meal or lunch!

Leino's Riverside Resort has been a cherished family-run establishment in Squaw Lake, MN, since 1937, when Ellen Kananen and Eino Leino first opened the resort alongside a grocery store and a dance hall. Over the decades, the resort has evolved, with Bruce and Sandy Leino taking over in the mid-1980s and later expanding the property to include a gift shop and a pub, ensuring a continuation of family traditions and customer service.
With roots tracing back to Emil Kananen, who emigrated from Finland in 1904 and established a trading post, the Leino family has played a significant role in the community for over a century. In April 2024, Cory and Kari Leino Smith continued this legacy by purchasing Leino's Riverside Resort, dedicated to maintaining the spirit and hospitality that has defined the family business for generations.

I've been to this restaurant twice and both times the food and service were great. The staff is very friendly.
