Lake Itasca Region Pioneer Farmer
Lake Itasca Region Pioneer Farmers Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and showcasing historic rural logging-related Americana for the cultural, educational, and entertainment benefits of the public. Established in 1976 and located adjacent to Itasca State Park since 1990, the organization features 84 acres of grounds with 40 historic rustic buildings, all constructed with lumber milled on-site.
Each year, the organization hosts a three-day reunion show during the third weekend in August, drawing families and individuals to experience a unique glimpse into the past. The event includes daily activities such as logging demonstrations, tractor pulls, and a parade, all organized by dedicated volunteers who are passionate about preserving history and sharing it with the community.
